Camp Table Custom Dish Drying Hammock
I sewed a custom dish drying hammock and pouch for my FrontRunner table. The fabric is multi-color Textilene Mesh I ordered from Seattle Fabrics. I like the pop of color it gives and it is not dark and depressing like the typical black mesh. This fabric is used in commercially available river company bags and dish hammocks. The edges are bound with blue sunbrella bias trim also from Seattle Fabrics. The dish drying pouch has a rear full size compartment with a pleated based to allow expansion for larger pots, a middle full size compartment , and two smaller front compartments. A second pouch was made for the other side that consists of only two compartments. The intent of this one is to hold field guides, flashlights, etc. The hammocks/pouches hang from the table by clipping to stainless steel eye bolts. I installed rivet nuts in the table legs to clip the pouches to. The table can fold up with the pouched attached but depending on packing they may be removed and packed.
